NetSetGO Non-Competitive Divisions
Also known as our "Moddies" players
From 7 to 10 years old, boys and girls can play in the NetSetGO non-competitive fixtures. Games are played at the Pinklands Sporting Complex, Thornlands, each Saturday morning during the Winter season (March – August).
Here at Allstars we have coaches dedicated to teaching our younger group basic netball skills, team work, sportsmanship and most importantly, a love for the game. Our U7s to U10s will be invited to take part in a complimentary pre-season fitness programme at the club’s training facility. This at no extra cost to club members and is part of Allstars helping our Moddies develop and improve their basic fitness.
U11s - U12s
Also known as our "Junior" Players
- Players are on hard courts and play netball by the full set of rules.
- For U11s, this is the first year official scores will be recorded and published on the RNA website each week during the winter competition.
- At the end of the season, U11s who are competitive can trial for Representative Netball with the RNA when nominations open.
- U12s have the opportunity to be starting their umpiring accreditation or be an assistant to one of our Allstars coaches, as well as playing netball on Saturdays. For some players, they will be starting their first year of Representative Netball with the RNA.
U13s and U14s
Also known as our "Intermediate" Players
- Players of both age groups are combined to create teams for competitive games at the RNA.
- Intermediate players also have umpiring and coaching opportunities available to them at Allstars. We encourage our Intermediate players to participate not just in club netball, but to help out at the Club as well. Fundraising for the club and assisting with our NetSetGO program are just some of the things on offer at Allstars.
U15s +
Also known as our "Cadet" Players
- Players of varying age groups are combined to create teams for competitive games at the RNA on Saturdays.
- U15s is the last year of Representative Netball.
- Players over the age of 16 can trial for the Queensland Premiere League.
- As our most senior players at the Club, they serve as role models to our younger players as well as play netball.
- Positions such as Umpiring Co-Convenors, Coaches and NetSetGO facilitators are chosen from this group.
- All our competitive teams have experienced, passionate coaches who are committed to teaching our players the full rules of the game, teamwork and resilience. Our coaches host one training day a week, to ensure our players are fit, as well as the complimentary fitness training on offer at the club for no extra cost.
- Players from U7s to Cadets will receive a trophy or medallion and team photo on Presentation Day, which will be held at the Allstars training facility at the end of the netball season.
